Leadership Development/Coaching

Mike developed and managed a 5 year comprehensive Leadership and integrated Coaching initiative with a Canadian aerospace company involving more than 320 managers, directors and supervisors as well 5,400 person days of leadership and coaching training and certification, As site project leader, Mike worked with the organization management team and executive to link the initiative to core operational and quality objectives.

Performance Management

Mike designed, developed and managed the implementation of a performance management system for a public sector organization. The project focussed on the identification and development of organizational and leadership skills for senior level managers. Working with the executive team, Mike facilitated the creation of Vision and Value statements and used this information to develop uniform assessments of leadership skills. He tied these to specific and comprehensive training initiatives. Based on the preceding actions, Mike installed a competency based performance management system that was linked key organizational objectives.

Organizational Development

As the Canadian General Manager of a human resource services firm, Mike realigned the focus of the organization to better meet the demands (requirements) of the Canadian marketplace. Mike helped the senior managers develop a new vision of the organization and translated this into measurable strategic and market position action plans. In doing so, the company had been able to realize a 42% increase in sales and significant development in other metrics.
